About the Religion in the Middle Ages.

Posted by ivana in Uncategorized

Hello. Now I’m about to tell you what I have learned about the religion in the middle ages. The people who lived in the Middle Ages mostly believed in Christianity. So they believed in everything what Jesus Christ said. Religion was very important to the Middle Age people. Especially to the monks and friars. Monks and friars were people who worked in the church. They also have a scedule, which they have to follow every day. They don’t sleep a lot, they mostly read, prey, and work in the church. That’s what the monks did. Monks were similar to friars, but friars were more poor. Monks had to live in Monasteries, which are near the church. They helped sick people and prayed for god. So religion was very important to the Monks, friars, priests, pope’s and much more people from the Middle Ages.

Here is the scedule of the monks:

  • 1.45 a.m - Wake up.

  • 2.00 a.m - read and prey.
